Mehndi Design for Hands
Mehndi or henna as it is called in Indian tradition is a paste made out of grinding henna leaves. Women love to apply mehndi because it adds beauty to their hands. Mehndi is mostly applied before any function and is widely used in marriage for Bridal (Heena mehndi Designs). To get good colour out of the mehndi one does add lemon juice and eucalyptus oil in the mehndi paste. The mention of henna started many centuries ago where Egyptians used to use it before mummification. Mehndi apart from being used in marriages and functions is also used by dancers during their performances. Most traditional Indian dancers apply a mehndi design in which they make large n small circles inside their palm and cover half of their fingers with the mehndi they are called as Arabic mehndi Designs .
There are different designs for mehndi which is applied in hands. As said the Indian design consists of making circles inside the palm during marriages the design which is made is of thin lines with random shapes. Some mehndi designs are of Arabic style this design though now is put by everyone was earlier popular in Pakistan and other Arab countries. Another unique style of mehndi design for hands is that of geometrical shapes and figures this design is called as the African mehndi design.
One has to be an expert in designing mehndi because it should look great and pretty when designed in hands. Though there is different mehndi designs available today mehndi design is nothing but creative art which needs a lot of imagination. You can create your own mehndi design because for a good mehndi design all you need is good imagination and drawing skills. Patience is another aspect which is very important while applying mehndi and after all designing mehndi is not as difficult as it too has basic geometric figures.
Mehndi is Mostly used in India and Pakistan and there designs are Indian Mehndi Designs and Pakistani mehndi Designs Respectively.
